Ford is reopening U.S. order banks for the Mustang Mach-E on Tuesday with updated price and features as it ramps up production of the popular all-electric SUV. Ford’s electric vehicle sales in the United States increased by 168.7 percent in July, with the Mustang Mach-E, the second best-selling electric SUV in America, increasing by 74.1 percent.

Beginning this fall, Premium versions equipped with the Extended Range battery will have an EPA-estimated range of 290 miles on all-wheel drive vehicles, an increase of 13 miles.

Ford Co-Pilot360 Driver Assist Technology

Ford Co-Pilot360 Driver Assist Technology is now standard on all Mustang Mach-E models. Ford BlueCruise hands-free driving and 360-degree camera are available on select models for a free 90-day trial period, allowing buyers to test the function before deciding to enable it for a longer amount of time.

“By adding Ford Co-Pilot360 Driver Assist Technology to the complete Mustang Mach-E lineup, more customers will have access to features like BlueCruise hands-free driving and future ADAS services via Ford Power-Up software upgrades,” said Marin Gjaja, Model e’s chief customer officer. “We’re revealing these modifications ahead of the reopening of order banks on Tuesday so customers can understand the feature and pricing changes associated with ordering a Mustang Mach-E.”

The new Mustang Nite Pony Package is available on Premium models with Extended Range Battery and GT Performance Edition, and it includes high-gloss black 19-inch wheels and a black Pony, black front and rear lower fascia, door cladding, and black mirror caps on the grille to differentiate the Premium, while the GT Performance Edition adds 20-inch high-gloss black wheels and a black GT badge. Customers can, for example, combine any Mustang Mach-E exterior color with the Nite Pony Package.

Customers can select two new colors from the Mustang Mach-eight E’s available options: Carbonized Gray Metallic and Vapor Blue Metallic. Dark Matter Gray Metallic and Iced Blue Silver Metallic have been replaced by the two new arrivals.

Based on consumer demand, California Route 1 is now only offered as an all-wheel drive option, rather than a rear-wheel or electric all-wheel drive option.

The panoramic fixed-glass roof has replaced the Black Painted Roof as standard on the GT and GT Performance Edition.

Ford is modifying the Mustang Mach-MSRP E’s due to considerable material cost increases, ongoing strain on key supply chains, and fast changing market conditions, and will continue to review pricing throughout the model year. The revised MSRP will be applied to new orders submitted beginning Tuesday. Customers who have unannounced 2022 Model Year orders will be contacted privately with an opportunity to convert to a 2023 Model Year.
